The Origin Story


Teresa was once a morbidly obese middle aged woman. Driving around in a motorized cart in Walmart one day, she realized that she wanted her life to change. She began a new way of eating and tiny increments of movement gradually to lose 180 lbs over two and a half years.

In Mid 2000s


Teresa began to receive certifications in exercise and worked at various gyms and opened her own private studio.. Some of the certifications are:

Personal Trainer (ACE),

Group Fitness Instructor (AFAA), 

Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-300), 

Aquatic Exercise Teacher (AEA) and a

Aquatic Therapy Rehab Institute trained instructor.

Around 2010


Teresa became passionate about using movement and mindfulness to build cognition, memory and to maximize alertness and reaction time. She delved into studying neuroscience and learned that aging people can improve their brain function by learning movements, practicing social connection, and utilization of the breath to enhance quality of life.

Teresa delivers presentations in Senior Centers, Wellness Communities, churches, Senior Living communities and at various conferences focusing on health and wellness for Seniors such as during Active Aging Week and National Senior Health and Fitness Day.
